Anniversary ~ 50th Vietnam War Commemoration
Please join us May 25th, 2017 for “Welcome Home” banquet and USO style evening at
Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor
located on Historic Ford Island.
Emcee David Price, NBC journalist, will help us recreate and honor the Bob Hope legacy of keeping the spirits of our troops flying high. With star-studded USO historic videos showcasing Hollywood celebrities and entertainers and a special performance by Tony Orlando.
It will be a special night of evening events beginning at 4:00 pm with a reception and viewing of 14 Vietnam-era aircraft on the apron fronting historic Hangar 79.
The Welcome Home Dinner is one of several events planned throughout the week of May 22 – 29th. In accordance with the 2008 National Defense Authorization Act and the direction of the Secretary of Defense, Hawaii hopes to thank and honor our Vietnam Veterans and their families, and remind us all of the solemnity of war and the losses suffered by many.
